I have a zillion plain white men's Hanes t-shirts. Ok, maybe not a zillion. But a lot... more like a million. I love wearing them! I use 'em to sleep in, to layer under cardigans, or for that plain t-shirt and jeans look. I have one that has stains on it from a paint-the-kitchen-blue day. So today I gave it a face lift.
I used some yellow and blue Rit dye to make a happy green color. Have you ever checked out the Rit website? It's ah-maze-ing. They have a color formula guide that helps you mix your perfect color. I use it all the time. Check it out here.
I dyed the little t green, then followed this tutorial to add stripes.
With a white t, dye, masking tape, and a bit of spray paint I created this bad boy:
I kinda like it.
