a new year

This was the first thing I ate in 2012. A definite sign it's going to be a great year!

I love new year's resolutions! I've always been a fan of setting goals for myself and there's something fun about starting them at the beginning of a year. And this year is going to be particularly wonderful.

My 2012 Goals
Be organized. It's my greatest weakness. And I plan on changing it! Now.
Use my time more wisely.
Eat more veggies and make more meals entirely from whole foods. Let's face it, I'll never be perfect at it, but I can certainly try. I feel wonderful when I eat uber healthy! {And yes, I know I have a picture of a doughnut on this post.}
Create more.
Improve this little blog of mine. Content, design, everything! I love this blog and hope to make it the best I can.
Make time everyday for spiritual improvement.
Write it my journal more often.

Having a hard time thinking of resolutions? Check out Noetic Musings' post on 30 things to start doing for yourself. You will be inspired!

And check out this darling song by Rachel Platten. It's my theme song for the new year.

We're big on whole foods over here..the new year gave me a reason to recommit. We've had some delicious meals over the past couple days and it's helped remind me how much I love vegetables! Good stuff.

Good luck!!

That was the last thing I ate in 2011! What better way to end the year with a bang and start the new year with a pow.

Happy new year! I've been reading your blog for a couple months now, and I usually just lurk and don't comment. I wanted to come on and say that I love it, and that both you and your husband are adorable. Have a great year, and I hope you keep blogging. :)
